Your continued use of the Service constitutes your ongoing acceptance of these terms as they may be updated from time to time.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SORUVALAB MAKES NO WARRANTIES REGARDING ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any content — including AI-generated lessons, feedback, or translations — is accurate or suitable for your learning goals.
Mellingo uses artificial intelligence to generate lesson content, questions, scoring, and feedback in real time. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions. SoruvaLab does not review or verify AI-generated content before delivery. You are solely responsible for evaluating the content and determining its appropriateness. Do not rely on AI-generated feedback for academic, professional, medical, legal, or any critical purposes.
You are solely responsible for your use of the Service and any consequences thereof. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules in your country or jurisdiction. SoruvaLab assumes no responsibility for any illegal or unauthorized use of the Service by you.
The Service is operated by an independent developer based in Japan and is intended for a global audience. SoruvaLab makes no representation that the Service is appropriate or available in all countries. You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Service complies with the laws of your country or jurisdiction. You must not use the Service if doing so would violate applicable local laws or regulations.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SORUVALAB AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF SORUVALAB HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOUR SOLE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USE OF THE SERVICE.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoruvaLab and its operators from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@soruvalab.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. SoruvaLab is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.
Pro subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. SoruvaLab reserves the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable prior notice. Users under the age of 18 must obtain parental or guardian consent before making any purchases.
All content, design, branding, and code of the Service is the property of SoruvaLab unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent from SoruvaLab.
SoruvaLab reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notice or email where practicable. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Japan, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
