We collect information you voluntarily provide when using Mellingo, including your email address (if you create an account) and usage data such as lesson progress and session activity. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial data, health information, or government-issued identification.
We use collected information solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Mellingo service; process subscription payments via Stripe; and send essential service-related communications. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Mellingo uses third-party AI services to generate lesson content, questions, and feedback in real time. AI-generated content is not reviewed or verified by SoruvaLab before delivery. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. You use such content at your own discretion and risk.
We use the following third-party services to operate Mellingo: Groq (AI content generation), Stripe (payment processing), Clerk (user authentication), Vercel (hosting and infrastructure), and Supabase (database storage). Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review independently.
Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase and Vercel, both of which implement industry-standard security measures. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
Mellingo uses browser local storage and essential cookies to maintain session state, language preferences, and daily usage limits. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data to improve the Service.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@soruvalab.com.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. EU/EEA residents have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. Mellingo is not directed at children under the age of 13. Users must comply with the minimum age requirements applicable in their country or jurisdiction. Users under the age of 18 must obtain parental or guardian consent before making any purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.
Mellingo is a global service operated by an independent developer based in Japan. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed and stored in countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email where practicable. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
